Working Visit of the Director of Industrial Statistics in Jambi Province

On July 18-20, 2024, Dody Herlando, Director of Industrial Statistics, carried out a business trip to Jambi Province in order to supervise industrial, mining, excavation, energy, and construction survey activities. During his visit, Dody visited several companies in Muaro Jambi Regency, namely PT Musim Mas, CV Perintis Lestari Talang Duku, and PT Budi Nabati Perkasa. This visit was accompanied by Andi Setiawan (Head of the Industrial Statistics Team and PEK BPS Jambi Province) and a team from BPS Muaro Jambi Regency consisting of Muji Lestari (Head), Maimun (Head of the Industrial Statistics Team), and Usman (PCL DPA & STPIM). The results of this visit provided important insights into the growth of CPO industry production in Jambi.

Furthermore, Dody Herlando also visited a construction company in Jambi City, namely PT Abun Sendi. During this visit, he was accompanied by Afrizon, Head of the PEK Statistics Team of BPS Jambi City. Dody expressed his high appreciation to the companies that have provided data, emphasizing that the contribution of the construction sector and the manufacturing industry is very important in calculating the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). The collaboration between BPS and these companies is expected to continue to support the availability of accurate data for sustainable economic development planning.
